Collection and use of your data

The extent and nature of the collection and use of your data differs depending on whether you visit our website only to call up information or to take advantage of the services we offer.

If we wish to use contracted service providers for individual functions of our offer or use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below. Your data will otherwise only be passed on to other third parties if we are legally obliged to do so.

Data security

Among other things, this website uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g. orders or inquiries). You can recognize an encrypted connection by the character string "https://" and the lock symbol in your browser line.

Data collection when visiting our website

"Personal data" means any information relating to an identifiable or identified natural person

Server-Logfiles

You can visit our websites without giving any personal information. Whenever you access our website, usage data is transmitted to us or our web host by your Internet browser and stored in log files (so-called server log files). This stored data includes, for example, the name of the page accessed, the date and time of access, the IP address, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO out of our predominant legitimate interest in ensuring the trouble-free operation of our website as well as to improve our offer.

Customer account

When creating a customer account, we collect your personal data to the extent specified there. The data processing serves the purpose of improving shopping for you and simplifying order processing. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO with your consent.

Collection, processing and transfer of personal data for orders

When you place an order, we collect and process your personal data only to the extent necessary to fulfil and process your order and to deal with your enquiries. The provision of the data is necessary for the conclusion of the contract. A non-supply has the consequence that no contract can be concluded. The processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO and is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract with you.

Your data will be passed on, for example, to the shipping companies, payment service providers, service providers for order processing and IT service providers selected by you. In all cases, we observe the legal requirements. The scope of data transmission is limited to a necessary minimum.

Collection and processing when using the contact form

When using the contact form, we only collect your personal data (name, e-mail address, message text) to the extent that you have provided it. The data processing serves the purpose of establishing contact. By sending your message you agree to the processing of the transmitted data. The processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO with your consent.

Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Used services and service providers

Mailchimp

e-mail marketing platform; service provider: "Mailchimp" - Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA; website: https://mailchimp.com; privacy statement: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/; Privacy Shield (ensuring data protection level when processing data in the USA): https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TO6hAAG&status=Active.

MailChimp is a service that can be used to organize and analyze the sending of newsletters. If you enter data for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. e-mail address), this data is stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA.

MailChimp is certified according to the "EU-US-Privacy-Shield". The "Privacy-Shield" is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA, which is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.

With the help of MailChimp, we can analyse our newsletter campaigns. When you open an e-mail sent with MailChimp, a file contained in the e-mail (so-called web-beacon) connects to the servers of MailChimp in the USA. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked on if any. Technical information is also collected (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. It is used exclusively for statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.

If you do not want to receive any analysis by MailChimp, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a link in every newsletter message. Furthermore, you can unsubscribe the newsletter directly on the website.

The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you have provided us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of MailChimp after the newsletter has been cancelled. Data, which was stored for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) remain unaffected.

The service includes the sending of the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google and is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO on the basis of our legitimate interest in determining the individual willingness of actions on the Internet and the prevention of misuse and spam. You have the right to have your stored data deleted or blocked for further processing at any time if we are obliged to retain your data (e.g. invoices) due to legal storage obligations, see also restriction of data processing.

Right to restrict data processing

You have the right to restrict the processing of data,

  • if you dispute the accuracy of your data and cannot correct it yourself

Should we send you (also in the future) direct mail (e.g. newsletters), you have the right to object to this data processing at any time. Right to data portability

If requested by you, we will make your data, which you have made available to us personally, available to you in a structured, common and machine-readable format and/or transfer it to another responsible party (e.g. another webshop), the latter as far as this is technically possible.
